All Kalyan Boanicals tinctures are designed with four functional components:

 

• Functional Cannabinoid Blend - The core of all Kalyan tinctures is a custom blended broad spectrum hemp extract.  Our innovative cannabinoid blending process is similar in concept to the way that wine makers will make a Bordeaux Wine Blend by combining both Cabernet and Merlot grapes. The result is a wine that is more complex, layered and has the best characteristics of each variety of grape. We use a similar process that combines multiple hemp cultivars in precise proportions to make our hemp extract blends. Taking this approach lets us create unique cannabinoid profiles that are carefully selected for their desired wellness benefits such as relief of pain/inflammation, sleep, immune support etc. The benefit of using a blended approach is a broader range of cannabinoids and superior Entourage Effect. We created three different innovative cannabinoid blends for our tinctures:
• Day Armor - 100mg CBD + 10mg CBG 10:1 ratio per Serving - All of the wellness benefits of CBD plus additional benefits for the circulatory system, pain/inflammation relief from CBG
• Rest & Relax  - 100mg CBD + 10mg CBN 10:1 ratio per Serving - All of the wellness benefits of CBD plus additional benefits for relaxation and sleep from CBN
• Immune Boost - 50mg CBD + 5mg CBG + 25mg CBDA + 25mg CBGA 10:1:5:5 ratio per Serving - All of the wellness benefits of CBD+CBG plus additional benefits of the acid precursors (not decarboxylated) CBDA and CBGA. • Functional Terpene Blend - Terpenes are a tremendously important part of any CBD tincture’s formulation. To understand why, it is useful to think of cannabinoids as being the engine of a car and terpenes as being the steering wheel. The interaction between terpenes and cannabinoids in any hemp extract determines its efficacy and also how it will make you feel. Some terpene profiles are uplifting, some are good for stress relief, some for focus, some for sleep etc. Just as we custom blend our cannabinoids for maximum effect, we also create custom blended terpene profiles for our tinctures to give them consistent specific functional effects (eg. Stress Relief, Sleep etc). Inconsistent terpenes poses a significant problem with the majority of CBD Oils/Tinctures on the market today.  Rather than precisely controlling their terpenes, they simply use whatever terpenes came along from the original hemp plant from which they were made. Consider that a Pinot Noir from Oregon will be very different from a Pinot Noir from California or France. Differences in Terroir (soil, climate, altitude, sun vs. shaded location, rainy vs dry season).  All of these subtle differences in Terroir and vintage will dramatically affect the terpenes in a hemp plant just as they do with wine. This variability is part of the charm of finding a great vintage of a wine but is not desirable when depending on a CBD Tincture to consistently help manage daily wellness needs like stress-relief or sleep. Consistency is key and by using standardized terpene blends in our tinctures, we ensure it.

• Exotic Natural Flavor - We designed our tinctures to be an enjoyable part of your everyday wellness routine. We wanted them to be great tasting as well as great for you. Hemp extracts and terpenes on their own can be rather bitter. Rather than try to mask this with artificial flavorings or sweeteners, we used all natural flavorings to complement the natural taste of our hemp extract and terpenes giving them a sophisticated and pleasurable taste. This allows our tinctures to be enjoyed on their own or as an ingredient in other culinary creations such as smoothies, protein shakes, cocktails or even savory dishes. We’ve developed several beautiful culinary recipes as a starting point but the possibilities are endless and we encourage you to explore them and go create delicious exciting dishes of your own.  We have three different flavors for our tinctures:
• Day Armor - Blood Orange+Yuzu - Citrus notes with a balanced herbal component. Pairs well with fruit, protein shakes etc.
• Rest & Relax - Dark Forest Berry - Dark berries such as blackberries and black currants and hint of chocolate.  Pairs well with chocolate.
• Immune Boost - Green Tea, Ginger, Honey, Yuzu, Tulsi (Holy Basil), Mint - Green tea with a slightly lemony flavor and a fresh mint finish. Enjoy with a small 1/4 teaspoon or so of Manuka  or other honey as a chaser to enjoy all of the subtle nuances. Pair with creamy desserts, cocktails or asian dishes with sweet accents.

• MCT / Fractionated Coconut Oil - MCT Oil has become a very popular nutritional supplement in recent years. It is believed to have several benefits such as: rich source of ketones, improved Blood Sugar levels, cardiovascular health, exercise performance, weight loss and many more. Serves as the carrier oil for Kalyan tinctures.
